Chinese Medicine, of course is one of the most respected medical theories in the world. In the 70's, David M. Eisenberg went to china to study as part of his medical education at Harvard medical School. That was the beginning of the whole "Integrative Medicine" movement in the U.s. Of course, at the same time Deepak Chaopra was also emerging as a "guru" himself.
